Build a Memory

The Centerville Public Library houses many memories inside, whether in the books themselves or in the lives of its patrons. We would like to include you in our plans for beautification at the Library and build new memories with you. Here are some opportunities for you and your family to become a part of this project.

Brick by Brick
A new walkway will lead from Main Street up to the Library. You can become a permanent part of the walkway by purchasing a brick for $100. The bricks may be inscribed as you wish, and are a great way to commemorate a life.

Sponsor a tree or shrub
Become part of the new look at the Centerville Library. Sponsor a shrub for $50. Your name will be displayed on a plaque in the library.

Look For Our Spring Auction Details to be announced

The Centerville Public Library Association, Inc. is a private, independent non-profit corporation. We receive half of our funding from the Town of Barnstable and from State Aid to public libraries.

Investment income, fundraising events and donations from our patrons and supporters provide the remaining 50% of the operating budget.

Please support the Library through the Annual Appeal which is run on a fiscal year basis from July 1 through June 30. Donation slips and envelopes are available at the Front Desk.
