Adult Winter Reading Challenge
Starting Monday, December 2, CPL is once again hosting our winter adult reading challenge! Play solo, with a friend, or as a family!
Make your way across the BOOKOPOLY game board by reading through challenging prompts and completing fun tasks. Along the way, you'll expand your reading and get to know more of what your library offers!
BOOKOPOLY takes place December 2024 through March 2025, with the last day to return game boards on Monday, March 31.

Right On Readers Book Club

Stop by for a meeting of the Right On Readers Book Club on the first Thursday of the month. Normally held at 12:30 p.m., this month's meeting will be at the later time of 4:00 p.m. in our downstairs community rooms.

This Month's selection is the thriller What Happened to Nina by Dervla McTiernan
CPL will have some copies of the group's book choice available to borrow, in addition to copies across CLAMS libraries. A digital copy of the novel can be found on Libby and other apps.

Artist of the Month: Amanda Lee
January 2025
Amanda B's subjects include all animals, but primarily birds with chickens being her favorite. Having 8 of them is wonderful inspiration, and seeing their little quirks helps her come up with fun stories about them. She alse plans on releasing a few children's books on her chooks in the future.
Her main mediums are watercolor and gouache, but she also likes to add pastel and colored pencil to the mix. She also works with embroidery from time to time.
Amanda's art will be on display in the front lobby of Centerville Public Library for the month of January with pieces available for purchase. A portion of sales benefit the library.
